Nothing enchants or delights me more than creating organic, natural, handcrafted potions and lotions from products of our hives, mindfully gathered botanicals located here on our property or local/Canadian sources. Spending time with my bees leaves me "BEEWITCHED"
RE-CONNECTING HUMANS TO NATURE
Beewitched Potions and Lotions are all about the Bees and what they provide and teach us. All products are inspired by nature and the medicinal properties within the hive and the botanical abundance around us. Within Beewitched Apiaries 90 acres lies a diverse ecosystem consisting of rich marshlands, year round flowing
natural springs from which the bees gather drinking water to drink and cool the hive. Rolling meadows abundant in wild flowers and medicinal plants provide the bees with nectar and pollen to feed the hive. The forest also provides a vital part of the hive; the "propolis" deriving from the Greek word pro"in the defense of", and polis meaning "city," meaning "in the defense of city." Bees use the resins collected to seal the hive from intruders, temperature control, seal out drafts and to keep the hive sanitary. The way they work together is so complete that it really helps to think of a honey bee colony as a single organism.
